Optomap/Fundus Photography

Optomap/Fundus Photography - DaytonaThis imaging system performs a scan of the inner components of the eye including the blood vessels, optic nerve, macula, and a wide-field view of the retina.  Whether these images are obtained as part of your routine exam, or to document any known eye conditions, we are able to archive and review them for years to come, leading to earlier detection of any changes within the eye for better ocular health and treatment.

Optical Coherence Tomography – OCT

Optical Coherence Tomography - OCTOCT is an advanced imaging technique used to create 3-dimensional images and models of various structures within the eye.  This non-invasive technique uses simple light waves to produce cross-sectional views and provide measurements of the tissues within the retina.  This technology is indispensable for conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, diabetes, and many more.

GDx – Nerve Fiber Analyzer

GDx - Nerve Fiber AnalyzerThis instrument is a scanning laser polarimeter used in the detection of glaucoma.  Light waves are reflected off the retina in order to measure the thickness and structure of the “retinal nerve fiber layer” which would show thinning if damaged by glaucoma.
